my avocado tree progress
im too lazy to upload the older pictures so im gonna start from my avocado at 4 months old. It will have updated pictures a couple of times a month. (note that the pictures might be taken at different zoom distance, so a newer picture might appear smaller than the previous one, when in fact it's really not. One way you can tell is by looking at the pot size.) Don't miss out on the birthday picture in June, 6th 2007 when the avocado becomes 1 year old. On that day I will also add a picture of when it just sprouted, having only 3 tiny leafs. There is a large time gap during winter, because there is no significant grow in this season. If you are looking at the new picture in march and the tree looks ugly don't worry because it was just an effect to the winter season and some leaves fell off. There is new grow on the top of the tree so it looked better in barely no time. By May, the tree has shown a large amount of new growth. A few more branches are appearing, and by no time it will look like a typical tree. Want to see more of my avocado to here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsNbSNZoF9Q&feature=PlayList&p=38DB9FAAD78C4B0D&index=0&playnext=1 to see videos of the different stages of my avocado tree.

ps. There may be several large time gaps in which a new pic was updated. This is due to the fact that the plant sometimes goes dormant for a few weeks, failing to yield new leaves. Thus, there isn't much of a change.
ps #2. I decided not to graft the tree because I do not really have experience in doing so and I don't want to take the risk of hurting my tree. Thus, don't expect to see any fruits every to grow on it unless I have a professional do it for more, Sorry.
sorry for not uploading any pictures. Though I would upload pictures every so often, there hasn't been much significant changes to upload these pictures so often. Thus I will upload pictures when there is a major change, would can be a gap of more than half a year. Same goes for the orange tree.
I replanted the tree to a larger pot in march 2009. I felt that a tree of that size already needs more space. I believe that it will need a larger pot in a minimum of a year and a half.
March 27, 2009 You may not fully notice about at this time the tree has over 20 branches. It is getting closer to looking like a typical tree.
Because of great sun exposure, the leaves all burned off and the tree did not have enough the energy to continue to grow. RIP Avocado tree
my sweet-gum tree progress
Months after I pulled out the dead avocado tree and left the pot to be I took notice of something green growing in that same pot. I believed it to be a weed and let it grow for months without having to take care of it. Later on I took notice at how large it has become and realized it's leaves are similar to the sweet-gum tree leaves in front of my house. The sweet gum seeds must have blown into that pot last fall and sprouted. Soon after another sweet gum tree has sprouted. I have decided to begin taking care of them and see the progress of their growth. In a way, they may be the reincarnation of my two avocado trees that died. Since this tree is seasonal, I am excited to see its change. The leaves may start to change colors as around october or november.
my orange tree progress
I recently planted a Washington Naval Orange Tree in my front yard on my birthday(March 14, 2008). I will probably upload a picture monthly or when noticeable progress appears. I will try to take the pictures at the same distance every time so there is no confusion. For now the tree looks very healthy and his growing very quickly so you will see the dramatic progress.

Sorry for the time gap. No significant progress during fall or winter. Probably i will have a lot more images during spring and summer.
The image in march 27, 2009 has it flowering. Although the orange tree did not produce any mature oranges last season, I believe that one or more oranges will mature this season. The tree doesn't look like it got a lot bigger, but IT DID because it tends to grow horizontally instead of upward (look at that branch to the right, look how far right it really extends to).

Other plants from the backyard
The first two pictures shows the first Monstera flower of the plant. These flowers come in pairs every year and this is the first year my Monstera plnat had them. Also in the middle of the flower there is a fruit, which rumors say will ripe next fall. I can't wait to get a taste of it. The second set of pictures are of my Money tree. When I first bought it, it grew so well and quickly. However, in late winter of 2007 it began loosing its leaves. Month by month more leaves were dieing off, and no new growth was appearing. It seemed like it only had a certain amount of time before it dies. I do not know what happened, but as of early May the leaves stopped dieing out and a lot of new grow has appearing.

There was no fruits produced in the year 2008, I am surprised why.
