Mike Sacks is an American author, humor writer, and magazine editor based in New York City. Sacks was born in Virginia and raised in Maryland before attending Tulane University in New Orleans.
Sacks has worked at The Washington Post, and is currently on the editorial staff of Vanity Fair magazine.[1] His work has appeared in Vanity Fair, The New Yorker,[2][3][4]Time magazine,[5][6][7] Vice,[8], GQ [9] McSweeney's,[10][11][12] Believer,[13] Esquire,[14] and Salon,[15] among other publications.
Many of his humor pieces have been collected in the book Your Wildest Dreams, Within Reason[16] published by Tin House Books in 2011.
Sacks wrote And Here's the Kicker: Conversations with 21 Top Humor Writers,[17] and he co-wrote SEX: Our Bodies, Our Junk.[18] Sacks has been interviewed on National Public Radio,[19] and his work has been cited by The New York Times,[20] CNN,[21] GQ,[22] Vanity Fair,[23][24] The Washington Post,[25] USA Today,[26] Time Out Chicago,[27] Cool Hunting,[28] The Huffington Post,[29] Dangerous Minds,[30] The Austin Chronicle,[31] and the Onion's A.V.
