Harold Copping - Jesus at the home of Martha and Mary

Harold Copping was a British artist. Born in Camden Town on 25 August 1863, he entered at London's Royal Academy where he won a scholarship to study in Paris.

He was best known as an illustrator of Biblical scenes for which he traveled to that area.

He also created illustrations for books and periodicals of the day.

He died in Shoreham, Kent, on 1 July 1932.
