Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering
Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering was established in the year 2002 by Kunnathunadu S.N.D.P Union, head quartered at Perumbavoor with a view to accomplish the ideals of Sree Narayana Guru (1855–1928), the great sage and social reformer who is considered as the leader of Indian Renaissance movement.
The sincere efforts of the Gurukulam Trust in creating state of the art infrastructure, dedicated highly qualified senior faculty, disciplined campus, opportunity for co-curricular activities, emphasis on personal development of each student has earned quick reputation for the institution.
The Campus
The campus spreads in a picturesque location of 40 acres in the outskirts of Kochi, the most happening city in the Gods Own Country. The college is 4Km north of Kolenchery and 14Kms south of Perumbavoor on the Kolenchery - Perumbavoor road. The campus is easily accessible by air, rail and road. The nearest airport is Kochi International Airport just 30Km from the campus and the nearest railway station is Tripunithura which is just 15Kms away
The college is housed in its permanent location and has a constructed area of 1,65,400 sq ft .It has separate hostels for gents and ladies.The ladies hostel is located within the campus.
Management
Sree Narayana Gurukulam Trust
The college is managed by the Sree Narayana Gurukulam Trust, a registered charitable society comprising eminent personalities from diverse spheres in Kerala. Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering is yet another feather in the cap of Kunnathunadu SNDP union in its continuous pursuit of bringing Guru’s vision of making quality education within the reach of all.
The functioning of the institution is steered by the Sree Narayana Gurukulam Trust. The members of the trust hail from various professional fields, and they have a set objective of opening avenues to the youth, far and near, of world class higher education in engineering and technology and in the allied disciplines.
The College has been approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and it is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala
