This article reads like an advertisement. It needs to be rewritten in a neutral tone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FreudianSlippers (talkcontribs)

It appears the people from the show, or someone who works for them wrote this up and yes it's a blatant advertisement and I have removed it. Cyberia23 (talk) 21:23, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison to Pawn Stars

I think there is too much here about the comparison to Pawn Stars and the article lacks anything else. I have removed the blatant Non-NPOV advertisement section that appears to have been made by someone working for the pawn shop or the show, but this article needs more information - perhaps some sourced positive criticism along with the bad. staged episode 303

staged episode 303 The woman that took a swing at Les and was then escorted out was clearly wearing a wireless mic (protruding from the back of her waist band)

I noticed that as well, but we already say in the article "Absurd scenes featured in Hardcore Pawn have also been speculated by some to have been staged". To me it was clear that it was staged because a) Les didn't even flinch meaning he knew it was coming and b) The security guard reacted way to fast to grab her arm mid-air as if he knew it was coming. A-la Operation Repo, TruTV is meant for those of us who prefer a little Jerry Springer comedic fake-reality every now and then :) MrCrackers (talk) 09:44, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Staged Episodes?

All such shows are staged. I personally know people who have worked in "reality" television like this. All of the episodes are scripted in advance. The producers seek out "crazies" and people who own unusual items to bring to the show. This is entertainment, not reality. 50.81.60.161 (talk) 23:13, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
