Marked as Patrolled

Hi there, Eeekster. Just a little request. It seems that Twinkle, quite annoyingly, doesn't mark pages as patrolled even when you tag them for WP:CSD, WP:PROD or WP:AFD. I've just come across an article, that you'd tagged for WP:CSD on the unpatrolled list. I'm sure you already know, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the article, there will be a little link in square brackets that says [mark this page as patrolled]. Clicking that means it'll get taken off the unpatrolled list and so no-one else will come across it on that list. It's not your fault, I know; it's Twinkle's. But until they fix it, it'd be great if you could click that link just before you tag an article. I've marked that one as patrolled. If you didn't find the article via the new pages list then just ignore me; you won't have had the option to mark it as patrolled. Sorry to be a pain. Keep up the good work. I know all about marking as patrolled. But I don't always come to the article from the new pages list. Eeekster (talk) 20:37, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RE: File permission problem with File:DanCooper.jpg

Hello. I admit, I'm pretty awful with images and image licenses. I am going to be emailing Cooper and asking him for permission (which I'll forward to Wiki), or asking him to shoot an email to Wikipedia with his permission, but I'm not so sure what goes in the message. Just a "My name is Dan Cooper and I grant permission for the image uploaded on Wikipedia (DanCooper.jpg) to be shared"? Would that suffice? Many thanks for your help. ~dee(talk?) 07:11, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Read the help articles for information of permissions. Eeekster (talk) 18:54, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How can using the official logo of a registered political party not be considered fair usage? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christopherbrian (talkcontribs) 20:36, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody says it isn't fair use. Try reading the notice. Eeekster (talk) 20:39, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I re-uploaded it using the upload wizard, but it does not appear to have worked Christopherbrian (talk) 21:13, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why would you uploaded it again just to add a source? Eeekster (talk) 21:13, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
because I am not that familiar with wikipedia, and it I have to say overly complicated, I looked everywhere, I added the following Christopherbrian (talk) 21:51, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Omar Benguit

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omar_benguit Hi - I am the initial editor of the article but I am also the author of the supposed copyrighted material - in other words I own the copyright to the material which has been inserted into the article - so please remove the copyright template on the page. By including my material in the article, I have permitted Wikipedia to include that material in their index. As for any conflict of interest, there isn't any because I am not Omar Benguit - I am merely an academic writer on miscarriages of justice cases. An accusation of bias could be raised, but I have not said Mr Benguit is innocent - I have merely recounted the facts of his case. If the page is not visible then other editors including myself won't be able to improve or edit it in any way. Londonlinks (talk) 11:14, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
