A Wiki-question for you
Hi. You helped me out a few weeks ago, and I thought you might again. (Actually, I wish I knew of a common wikipedia page where questions like these could be put and answered.)
I sometimes come across articles that look as though they were translated from another language by somebody not quite fluent in English. My current example: Chalcolithic; in fact, I see that the first entry in its history is 15:43, 25 February 2002 Conversion script (talk) m (382 bytes) (Automated conversion)
Do you know if there are accepted ways of marking such articles, something like Template:Bad english? Obviously, one solution is for me to fix it myself, but (a) I don't have time right now, and (b) I'm not sure I can rephrase some of the text without inadvertently changing the meaning. UW lead paragraph
Hi,
Regarding this edit, can you please look at edits next time before reverting them? The edit was perfectly fine - the removed citation was for an irrelevant statistic that does not belong in the lead paragraph (there's a specific section for rankings of the UW's various colleges), not to mention the citation URL no longer worked. --76.121.180.74 (talk) 08:21, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
