A magic school is an institution for learning magic. It may also be a school which is magically protected.

- The Scholomance: a legendary school of black magic
- College of Magic: the only real life magic school of its kind based in Cape Town, South Africa.
- The Academy of Magical Sciences, situated in Kerala, India, is well known as Asia's first Magic Academy.

- Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches from The Worst Witch series by Jill Murphy.
- Magic School (Charmed), a fictional school of magic which is a location of the Charmed television series.
- Hogwarts, school featured as main setting in Harry Potter.
- Burg magic school, featured in Lunar: Walking School and its remake Magic School Lunar!.
- Balamb Garden, a magic school featured in Final Fantasy VIII.
- Brakebill's University, a fictional college in The Magicians by Lev Grossman.
- Wizard's Hall, in the eponymous novel by Jane Yolen.
- Carthak University, in Tamora Pierce's Tortall books. Her books in the Circle universe also have a school of magic in the Winding Circle community.

Other Meaning
A "school" of magic, also refers to a division of magic. For instance, traditionally, magic is divided into fields such as conjuration, abjuration, transmutation, evocation, illusion, and necromancy. Anti-magic, exorcism, thaumaturgy, geomancy, alchemy, or healing can also be sometimes be schools of magic.
