Charles Hutchinson (M.P.) for Nottingham during the second and third Parliments of King William IV He was the 5th son of Sir Thomas Hutchinson (M.P.) by his second wife Lady Katherine Stanhope of Selford and his first son by Lady Katherine. She was the dau. of Sir John Stanhope, she was also the half sister of First Earl of Chesterfield. as well as being the half sister of Colonel John Hutchinson.

Family

Charles Hutchinson (M.P.)was born (ca. 1638-d.1744) he lived for over 100 years. His mother Lady Katherine (Stanhope) Hutchinson, also lived to be over 100 years old. He married Issabella Boteler or Butler, she was the dau. of Sir Francis Butler. They had 2 children. His neice was Catherine Cotton wife of Charles Cotton. She was married to Sir Kingsmill Lucy 2nd Bt.. Their son was Sir Berkeley Lucy 3rd Bt.. His mother was Lady Theoplia Berkeley dau. of George 1st Earl of Berkeley.
