A BIT ABOUT ME AND MY INTERESTS

As a retired academic who loves art, architecture, fashion, gardening and of course family! Much of my life has been lived without the internet. Yet please don't think this "Old Dog" cannot learn "New Tricks" if patient with me. I have begun with articles pertaining to charity minded fashion designer Marisol Deluna, the former architecture firm of McKim, Mead & White a 225 year old trade school and institute The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of the City of New York, Dutch Director-General and a founder of New Amsterdam Peter Stuyvesant and the collection of John M. Mossman Lock Museum yet look forward to diving into my favorite areas of interests and silly trivia when I see holes that need filling. Hopeful to be of assistance to all who ask!

Live a life that is meaningful and filled with truth! Elizabeth (but you can call me "Beth")

PET PEEVE

We all have lives beyond Wikipedia, yes? So why do editors quarrel? This does not make subject matters any more or less notable and/or accurate. We can learn from each other and should. If in question, ask an editor, add a "citation needed" and please don't simply delete!
