Nullinfinity667

Hi there and welcome to my page. I suppose I should write a little bit about myself, but first I have to explain my (perhaps seemingly peculiar) username. I am currently working on my MPhil in mathematical physics, and it involves General Relativity. I am performing expansions of the metric - the thing which describes how curved spacetime is - and I'm working in coordinates called Gaussian Null coordinates. The spacetime is so called asymptotically flat, which means we can look at the metric at infinity. Now, while this might come as a surprise, there is not one, but three infinities. A point called spatial infinity, points representing past and future timelike infinity, and, most importantly, two surfaces comprising null infinity.

As for the 667, User:nullinfinity or something was already taken, so I needed something. Hopefully something gravity-ish. And thus I decided to use three digits of Newton's universal gravitation constant G.

More soon, but for now I have a dimensional analysis library to work on in C++. It's called QUDAL. You can find it on SourceForge, but there's no code online just yet...
