Laura Schwartz, the White House Director of Events for the Clinton Administration, is a professional speaker, Author of Eat, Drink & Succeed and an international commentator on pop-culture, special events and the American perspective. She was the Fox News Channel on-air Political Analyst 2004–2007, with CNN for Larry King Live in the primaries Fall 2007-Summer 2008 and is now on the CBS Early Show domestically and internationally can be seen on the BBC, GMTV London and the renowned Sir David Frost's "Frost Over the World".

The White House

Laura Schwartz, the former White House Director of Events for the Clinton Administration, created and executed more than 1000 White House events including 12 State arrival ceremonies and dinners, America’s Millennium Celebration and NATO’s 50th Anniversary. While producing the President’s events on the world stage, leaving no room for error, Laura demonstrated the Presidency’s ability to inspire a nation and the world through powerful events. As an eight-year veteran of the Administration, prior to being named The Director of Events in 1997, Laura served as The White House Director of Television and The Midwest Press Secretary for The President. Following the Administration, Laura traveled the world with Former President Clinton for his Foundation and Global Initiative.

In her first book, Eat, Drink & Succeed! Climb Your Way to the Top Using the Networking Power of Social Events, Laura shares the secrets that skyrocketed her onto the world stage adding color with personal anecdotes from her life & White House years. As a professional speaker she takes those same details to stages, boardrooms, classrooms and ballrooms around the world in her acclaimed speaking series to empower, motivate and inspire each audience.

Besides stages, Laura is on your screens as an international television commentator. She covered the 2008 Presidential Campaign for the CBS Early Show, prior to joining CBS, Laura was the on air Political Analyst for the Fox News Channel 2004-2007 and was the Special Correspondent to Larry King Live and CNN for the presidential primaries. Laura is also seen internationally on Good Morning London, the BBC World News and Sir David Frost’s “Frost Over the World.”

Laura is a well known a mistress of ceremonies for events including charity galas, sporting events, panel discussions and fashion shows. Whether an intimate gathering of 30 or a field of 30,000 - Laura makes each individual feel as if they are a part of the celebration or commemoration of the day through her positive energy, intonation and passion for the message at hand. Laura is the annual emcee for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk in Chicago’s Grant Park and suburban locations and the Community Celebration for the United Way in recognition of the top corporate executives, volunteers and government officials throughout the country.

Laura serves on both national and regional boards of non-profits and media organizations including the American Heart Association, The Illinois Institute of Art, P.A.V.E. and Event Solutions Magazine. Ms. Schwartz created, White House Strategies, an event, media, political and message consultancy.
