Tia & Tamera is a docu-series, following the lives of former Sister, Sister stars, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry, which premiered on August 8, 2011 on Style Network.[1]On September 15, 2011, Style Network renewed the show for a second season.[2]

Overview

The show follows the 33-year old twin sisters as Tia is pregnant for the first time and Tamera plans her wedding with Fox News correspondent Adam Housley.

Production

Tia & Tamera aired as a half-hour special on Style Network on July 17, 2010.[3] On February 3, 2011, Tia Mowry announced via her twitter account that the network picked up the show for a full season.[4] It was confirmed from a Style press release that the show will premiere on August 8, 2011, at 9/8c.[5]

Ratings

The premiere was the most-watched series premiere ever for Style Network and the second most watched Style telecast ever in key demos.The episode averaged 1.5 million viewers for its combined two airings.[6]The second episode climbed to new highs with 0.92 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in adults 18-49 demo.[7] The third episode drew in 0.808 million viewers at 9 PM and a further 0.484 million viewers watched the encore repeat at 10 PM bringing a total viewers of 1.29 million viewers.[8]
