Anil Biswas (1944-2006) was the secretary of the West Bengal State Committee of CPI(M) and member of the polit bureau of the same. He is the editor of "Marxbadi Path" the theoretical quarterly in Bengal. He hails from a village in Nadia District of West Bengal. He is known to be a deft strategist of the Party.He passed away on March 26,2006 after being hospitalised due to a cerebral stroke on March 18.
