Young Foolish Happy is upcoming second studio album by British recording artist Pixie Lott. The album is scheduled for release on November 7, 2011 in UK.[1]

Background

Lott began work on her then untitled second studio album in January, 2011, in Los Angeles.[2] In April 2011 she gave interview to Digital Spy, revealed that "[t]here are a couple of really cool collaborations on the album and I've already worked with some big people, but I can't say who they are just in case those tracks don't make the final cut", while describing the sound as "still pop stuff, but maybe a little more soulful. That's the kind of thing that I'm into. That influence is stronger on this album."[3] Album title was announced by Lott on 17 September, she also stated that it will include collaborations with Stevie Wonder on harmonica and John Legend.[4] Lott revealed that album is titled after one of her all-time favourite songs "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy", adding "It’s a message that I’ve always really liked and I think it’s important that need to people remember, it’s just motivating and inspirational".[5] Album cover was premiered on 5 October.

Singles

"All About Tonight" was released on September 2, 2011 as lead single from album. Lott premiered single on BBC Radio 1's The Chris Moyles Show on July 11, 2011. It debuted at number 1 with sales under 90,000 copies, gave her third number-one hit in UK. It also reached number 9 in Ireland, her second top 10 hit in that country.

Second single, "What Do You Take Me For" featuring rapper Pusha T will be released on 6 November, 2011. Music video premiered on October 6.
