Paddle tennis is a racquet sport invented in 1898 by Frank Beal. It is similar to tennis, but uses smaller paddles and a spongy ball. Like tennis, Paddle tennis is played in both singles and doubles, but each player is allowed only one serve. The game is best of three sets (first player or team to win two sets). Scoring is the same as in tennis.
