Tesco Lotus is a hypermarket chain in Thailand. Established in 1998, it is a joint venture of a local Charoen Pokphand Group and Tesco, the British giant supermarket chain. Tesco Lotus stores generally stock groceries as well as a selection of stationary, school supplies, clothing, shoes, and various other non-food products. Some stores also have food courts. In various locations within Thailand, Tesco Lotus Express stores (a smaller version of the Tesco Lotus supermarket) have opened at gas stations. These stores stock a smaller range of goods, alongside refreshments, make-up, snacks, etc.
