Geographical Location

Valiveru is a village in Tsundur mandal of Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. It is located at a distance of 9km from Tenali and 6km from Mandal Head Quarters and 22km from District Headquarters. The nearest railway stations are Tsundur and Tenali. Buses will be running from Tenali and there are Auto-Rickshaws running till late nights. Pin Code of the village is 522-211.

Most of the elder people in the village are farmers, where they mainly cultivate paddy, lemon, maize and bananas. Most of the present generation Youth of the village are educated and well settled as per there career.

There is a library, reading/TV room, where the villagers gather to share there views and discuss about political news and take plans for village developm

Education

There is St Anne's English medium missionary school run by the Sisters of Bangalore from past 15 years.Hundreds of students passed out from this school and well settled in the society.There are three other government primary schools in the village.

There are temples like Shivalaayam (pedda gudi), Raamalayam, Poleramma gudi, Venugopala swamy temple (chinna gudi), Vinayaka gudi etc., having a spiritual atmosphere at the premises of these Temples. All the festivals are celebrated in a traditional way and of all "Ganesh Chaturthi" is the major festival which will be celebrated in a great manner from the olden days with lot of efforts and co-operation from all the people in the village.
