Common disease found on fruits and vegetables. It causes large oval lesions with pink colored fruiting spore bodies. Antrachnose is caused by Colletotrichum Musea, a fungus that grows easily in the organic rubble lying at plantations such as leaves and crowns cut from the plants.

As a countermeasure the fruit's can be treated with Thiabendazole, Imazalil, Benomyl or Prochloraz.
