The Knoxville Locomotive Works (reporting mark KLWX) is a subsidiary of Gulf & Ohio Railways tasked with maintaining the sizable locomotive fleet of its parent company. A second function involves administering equipment leasing operations on behalf of Gulf & Ohio.[1] Locomotive repairs and qualifications are carried out at the shop facilities in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee.[2]
