Prespa ((Albanian language: Prsepa) or (Macedonian language: Преспа)) is a region in Republic of Macedonia. It shares the same name with the two Prespa lakes which are situated in the middle of the region. The largest town is Resen with 9,000 inhabitants.

Until World War II, Prsepa was a region shared mostly within the borders of Albania. At the present time, In the side of Albania there are numbered 9 villages. The population in prsepa is majority Albanians who speak the tosk dialect. The name prespa come from the region so called during the roman times.
