Jose Miguel Gonzales Rey, more commonly known as Josemi (born 15 November 1979 in Torremolinos, Spain) is a Spanish football player. Between the summer of 2004 and December 2005 he played for Liverpool F.C., predominantly as a right back, but he could also play as a centre back, before he was transferred to Villarreal CF in Spain.

Josemi started his career at the Spanish club Málaga, before becoming Rafael Benitez's first signing as Liverpool manager for £2 million in the summer of 2004.

He played in 14 first-team games in all competitions for Liverpool in the 2005-06 season. He has never played for the Spain before.

Whilst he has been exposed for a lack of pace, Josemi has also been praised for his determination and "no-nonsense" style of defending and tackling. On 29 December 2005 it was announced that Liverpool and Villarreal had agreed to swap Josemi and Jan Kromkamp in the January 2006 transfer window.
