Ryan Raybould (born 30 May 1983 in Leawood, Kansas) is an American footballer who played as a midfielder for the Gefle IF of Allsvenskan in Sweden.

As a youth, Raybould grew up playing for the Kansas City Legends who were coached by the esteemed Welshman Gareth Hughes. He played soccer at Rockhurst High School from 1997 to 2001 and at Yale University from 2001 to 2004. He graduated from Yale in 2005.

He signed a developmental contract with the Wizards on March 11, 2005. He appeared in 19 games and was called "an inspiration to us all" by many of his teammates. After four seasons in MLS, Raybould signed a contract with Swedish club Gefle IF during the summer 2008.[1] His stint in Gefle was a short one, Raybould only played four games in the Swedish top tier league, and he resigned a year later.[2]

In 2009, Raybould entered law school at the University of Notre Dame, where he is currently a staff member of the Notre Dame Law Review. He led the law school's intramural soccer team to the championship game in two consecutive seasons, winning one of them. In the 2010 finals, Raybould was injured early in the second half when the opposing goalie kneed him in the face. Seven stitches were required to sew up his chin, and Raybould grew a beard in the aftermath. Raybould is scheduled to graduate from Notre Dame in May 2012.
