Rovana Plumb is a Romanian member of the European Parliament on the Employment and Social Affairs Committee as well as the EU-Turkey Joint Parliament Committee; she is a substitute on the Environmental, Public Health, and Safety Committee as well as the Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee.[1] Her official party is the Social Democrat Party (Romania) , which she has voted with 98.25% of the time.[2] Rovana Plumb was born June 22nd, 1960 in Bucharest and has attended the Academy of Economic Studies as well as George Washington University, among others. She served as a member of the Romanian Parliament from 2004 to 2007. [3]
