Real Name: John McNamara
A co-operative practitioner since 1998--I work for '''Union Cab of Madison Co-operative''' as a manager, but have served eight years on its board of directors.
Earned a Masters in cooperative management at St. Mary's Universityin 2010. I also serve as president of the U. S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives and author two blogs on the co-operative movement: The Workers' Paradise and Breathing Lessons.
I have been trying to raise the awareness of the co-operative business model and the educational opportunities within that movement.
If you would like to help on these articles or learn more about co-operatives, feel free to send an e-mail john_mcnamara@unioncab.coop.
I am currently working on creating a page for the MMCCU master's program at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Johnthecoopdude/Masters_of_Management:_Co-operatives_and_Credit_Unions.
