Todd McCarthy

Todd McCarthy is an American film critic. He wrote for Variety for 31 years as its chief film critic before being laid-off in 2010.[1][2] He is currently a critic for The Hollywood Reporter.

McCarthy has also directed four documentaries about film: Visions of Light (1992), Claudia Jennings (1995), Forever Hollywood (1999), and Man of Cinema: Pierre Rissient (2007).
