Blossom is the name given to the flowers of stone fruit trees (eg. plum, apple, cherry, apricot, nectarine, peach) and of some other small plants with a similar appearance that flower profusely but for an extremely short period of time. Blossom is either pink or white depending on the species - cherry blossom and nectarine/peach blossoms are pink, plum and apple blossoms are white.

Blossom was also the title of a 1990s television sitcom starring young actres Mayim Bialik. It was about a single father living with his daughter, and two sons (one of whom is an alchoholic.)
