The Wiki police have flagged this article for its lack of references. However, this article is about an important but rare book (catalogue), fundamental for Peruvian philately. The catalogue and its authors are clearly given in the text, where they should appear. The book itself is its own the reference. Should I also add it to some token list of references? What other reference is required?

The need for this brief Lamy article is simple. Go to any source or display of Peruvian stamps and the searcher will find almost all classics described by reference to Lamy. But who or what is Lamy? It is like some obscure code until one discovers from Wikipedia that Lamy is the way that early Peruvian stamps are distinguished (by their cancellations).

Perhaps the same person flagged the article for its lack of links. The problem is what to link it to, since the main article on Peruvian philately has never been developed. Why link to an article that has one token sentence, uninformative on the subject, and which happens to contain two (admittedly small) inaccuracies? At present, such a link is a dead end, but I'll make it anyway.
