Daru-Al-Moameneen

Daru-Al-Moameneen can be known by it's acronym: DALMO

(Arabic:  دار المؤمنين), meaning "House of Believers". 


  • DALMO is an Islamic Organisation, founded in 2005; representing the Muslims of the South West of England, UK.
  • DALMO's mission statement is "to empower and enable the Muslim community in South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas to achieve excellence in their duties and advancement in educational, social, and cultural affairs for the best being of the individual and the society"

  • The decisions that DALMO takes in relation to Eid celebrations and Ramadhan comencements are in accordance with the European Council for Fatwa and Research. Daru-Al-Mameneen is governed by its Management Comittee, which can be contacted via the email address; info@dalmo.org.uk.

  • DALMO is in the process of receiving charity registration, and works closely with the South Gloucestershire Council and other Islamic organisations.
