DALMO also organises Quranic Recitation Classes for Children

Daru-Al-Moameneen (also known as DALMO, Arabic: دار المؤمنين) is an Islamic Organisation, founded in 2005; representing the Muslims of the South West of England, UK.

Mission Statement

Their mission statement is "to empower and enable the Muslim community in South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas to achieve excellence in their duties and advancement in educational, social, and cultural affairs for the best being of the individual and the society"

Charity and Courses

The decisions that DALMO takes in relation to Eid celebrations and Ramadhan comencements are in accordance with the European Council for Fatwa and Research. Daru-Al-Moameneen is governed by its Management Comittee. DALMO is in the process of receiving charity registration, and works closely with the South Gloucestershire Council and other Islamic organisations.

Daru-Al-Moameneen has started from the 28th of February 2006, Arabic Language Courses and Quranic Recitation Classes. Full Details can be found on their website.

Daily Events

DALMO provides the facilites for daily salah (prayer), at the newly built secondary school; Bradley Stoke Community School. DALMO also provides the opportunity for all its members to enagage in sports every Saturday and Sunday, using state of the art gym equipment.
