TVRecaps.com- Again deleted

Hi,

My page TVRecaps.com was deleted again. How can I not have it deleted? I added a external link for reference. Maybe I am not going it right? Please help me get it posted

Mikealtek (talk) 20:27, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Mike[reply]

Hi. The reason given for its deletion is that it was too promotional. As I wrote above, the best way to write an article is to summarize what reliable sources have written about the subject, using your own words. Perhaps you need to wait until TVRecaps.com gets more attention from the media before you can write an article about it. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 20:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Just to point out, it is best NOT to create an article with which you are closely involved. Especially, if it is a company you work for, or a project you worked on. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:40, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete that page? Was it Trust Is All You Need that asked you for this? At least, he is a well-known edit warlord already if you see his contributions. --153.110.194.139 (talk) 09:30, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The page was deleted because it was a hoax. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Communist Party of the Soviet Union General-Secretarial elections for more information. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 17:37, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Regating edits because of "original research"

I have added several items to the Wikipedia biography for Shlomo Sand. They have all been reverted because they were categorized as "original research," something I find puzzling, since I quoted a published study on genetics. Please explain why these would be considerd original research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.176.174.119 (talk) 14:24, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The expression "original research" has a specific meaning on Wikipedia. Please read WP:No original research for more information.
When you write:
However, a closer reading of the 2010 Ostrer study used for rebuttals shows that it actually opens the door for more questioning, of the same sort that Sand did in his book. The Ostrer paper actually states that ...
that's original research—"analysis or synthesis of published material that serves to advance a position not advanced by the sources", since the source doesn't discuss Sand. Please cite a secondary source to make your point. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 17:42, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I thought you might want to read this, it is on a similar matter. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vladimir Catana. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:35, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're most welcome... --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:30, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your help!!!....How can I upload the picture without any risk of being deleted? ˜˜˜˜ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anahiponce (talkcontribs) 01:29, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's copyright policy is somewhat complicated. There are essentially two ways to contribute a picture: by making it public domain or by licensing it under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license. Otherwise your picture probably will be deleted. Give it some thought and let me know if you have any questions. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:56, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

you deleted my page and the reason you gave is wrong

Hello Malik, the page "Oforia" was written by me and was on wikipedia for years.

you deleted it because of G12 reason.

Well, all the text that was on this page was totally and originally written by me, even if you found it on other places in the internet - I WROTE IT!!! i worked hard to deliever a good description for it and im very dissapointed to see you deleted it without any notice.

I'm the man behind the musical project Oforia - i believe i have the right to write about myself what ever i want as long as its original and true and for me, the action you took is contrasting the way i see wikipedia.

im really disappointed and im asking you to bring the page back to life and stop taking actions on my musical brand page in wikipedia as long as it contains only and only my words.

Thanks, Ofer Dikovsky (Oforia) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Airofo (talkcontribs) 01:00, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ofer,
According to its edit history, you were one of many editors who contributed to the article. The first few paragraphs of the Wikipedia article were identical to the text here (click on the Info tab). That site has a 2008 copyright, and I see that you added the text in question to the Wikipedia article during July 2008.
If you wrote the text on both sites, please let me know. I will consult with other editors who are more familiar with Wikipedia's copyright rules to find out what we should do.
Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:44, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Malik,

Thanks for your reply. I wrote the text for both sites and all the editors are actually me in couple of accounts. Please let me know how we can bring it back to life.

Thanks, Ofer — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.179.206.78 (talk) 22:13, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I asked other editors for their assistance at WT:Copyright problems#Oforia. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:13, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've restored Oforia. Please note that another editor has nominated it for deletion under WP:Proposed deletion. Please read the instructions there for information about how to proceed. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 16:36, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please Advice

Hello! Malik sorry to trouble you. My article (i.eLivingStory) has been deleted for the second time. Before the name was (i.elivingStory.com). It is about a company which is the first of its kind at providing 'permanent digital storage' using cloud computing for individuals to store their data safely. As I am new here I made the blunder of making my fist attempt look promotional. However the 2nd time I have tried to be neutral. Please do help me understand what was exactly wrong in the article, or which particular part needed a change. This will surely help me improve the article and republish it. Can you assist me in improving the article? Thanks (Tani12 (talk) 21:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Hi. Both articles were deleted because they seemed to promote LivingStory and its service.
The best way to write an article is to summarize what reliable sources have written about the subject, using your own words. Be sure to cite your sources, so readers (including other editors) can verify the facts in the article. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:11, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can I please have the link to the discussion that lead to the deletion, the first time. Yosri (talk) 12:28, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
