Requests for registration

Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.

Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.

Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *{{AWBUser|your username}} ~~~~~. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add {{Admin backlog}} to the top of this page.

Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.

If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

Users

You don't yet have 500 edits in the article namespace (the red portion on the pie chart). What would you like to do with AWB? Tyrol5 [Talk] 12:52, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Myself, I would wait for the almost 48h lag to be fixed before reviewing the user. ~ ⇒TomTomN00 @ 20:17, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Toolserver wasn't lagging when I reviewed the editor's contribs two days ago. Tyrol5 [Talk] 22:02, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please wait for the lag to be fixed. I've definitely crossed 500 in the article namespace. I want to try out AWB if it helps in editing faster than my current method of editing. --Msrag (talk) 13:19, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies if I wasn't clear above. Again, there was no replication lag on Toolserver when I processed the request back on Monday. But, I'll let another administrator make a call here. Tyrol5 [Talk] 19:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I confirm Tyrol5 observation: there are 464 edits to mainspace today (counting the contributions). Msrag has not been declined yet, but lag is now up to over 4 days, so if a reason is given the wait for the toolserver can be skipped. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lag is almost at 7 days, if it continues until Friday, just review the request (my oppinion). ~ ⇒TomTomN00 @ 18:48, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done Before getting AWB I would like to see far more experience doing constructive additions to article space pages. You have very few edits outside of reverts at this point. Perhaps you would like to use Twinkle to do tagging. Although this will be automated editing too and not count towards manual editing experience. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:43, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Alright then, Thanks anyway, --SteveTurner cont. 11:06, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
