Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add
to the top of this page.
{{Admin backlog}}
Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- You don't yet have 500 edits in the article namespace (the red portion on the pie chart). What would you like to do with AWB? Tyrol5 [Talk] 12:52, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- Myself, I would wait for the almost 48h lag to be fixed before reviewing the user. ~ ⇒TomTomN00 @ 20:17, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Toolserver wasn't lagging when I reviewed the editor's contribs two days ago. Tyrol5 [Talk] 22:02, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Please wait for the lag to be fixed. I've definitely crossed 500 in the article namespace. I want to try out AWB if it helps in editing faster than my current method of editing. --Msrag (talk) 13:19, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
- Apologies if I wasn't clear above. Again, there was no replication lag on Toolserver when I processed the request back on Monday. But, I'll let another administrator make a call here. Tyrol5 [Talk] 19:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
- I confirm Tyrol5 observation: there are 464 edits to mainspace today (counting the contributions). Msrag has not been declined yet, but lag is now up to over 4 days, so if a reason is given the wait for the toolserver can be skipped. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

Lag is almost at 7 days, if it continues until Friday, just review the request (my oppinion). ~ ⇒TomTomN00 @ 18:48, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

- You still do not have 500 edits to article space. Your work here looks good. But to gain access. please tell us what you want to do with AWB? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:11, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
- Fireblazex3 (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) Hi there. I'm currently involved in Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Assessment/Tag & Assess 2012, which requires us to tag and assess articles for their importance and quality. It would be a great help if I could use AWB to assist me in the project. In this way, I can get more work done within less time. Thank you. :) Fireblazex3 (talk) 05:37, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- Done You are well below the normal threshold, but the talk page edits look fine when done manually, so I am happy of you do that with AWB. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:17, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! :) Fireblazex3 (talk) 10:34, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- ncboy2010 (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) Hello. I'd like to use the AWB tool, (mainly for the various articles that misuse than vs then and other common misuses of grammar/spelling) Ncboy2010 (talk) 13:16, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- Wikishagnik (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I don't know if I have done 500+edits but I do a lot of editing on Wikipedia so such a tool would be helpful19:37, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
