Unblock Request April 30th

I am not another user account of JHerbertMunster, the creator of that account is my little brother. Thus why we have similar ip addresses. I am only asking because I use my account alot at school and I really would appreciate being unblocked and given another chance. I realized he was edit warring on that article and then got involved, I am sorry that I did so. I will refrain from allowing him to be on that website again, and he will not be given access to my account so as long as the network range stays blocked he will not be able to do that again.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am sorry for fueling an edit war on General Joseph Colton. I would like to apologize, and mention, that I realize my behavior was nonconstructive. Wikipedia editor's and administrator's have a hard enough task at hand maintaining the largest technological encyclopedia without me contributing to article vandalism. I would like to ask for another chance to prove that I can work to improve articles cooperatively with other editor's. Thank you for taking the time to read my request, and I look forward to your response.

Decline reason:

This account was blocked as it was confirmed as being a sockpuppet account. Please ask to be unblocked on the original account, and you'll need to include a very convincing explanation and apology for creating all those other accounts. Nick-D (talk) 08:44, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Now that I have repaired some of your damage, I'll say it again: see WP:BROTHER and WP:EBUR before requesting again (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:26, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
NOTE: You may not remove declined unblock requests - you have now done this twice. Please do not force me to lock this talkpage from your use. If you are requesting unblock, please address all the concerns (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:03, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my I am terribly sorry, but I do not understand. Do you mean each time I change the block to unanswered I must make a copy? Or is it because I rearranged your response. I am really sorry, can you please explain what you mean. I was just trying to clean the page, again sorry. Robert B Colton (talk) 11:31, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The unblock request above has been actionned as declined. Do not edit it, touch it, or remove it while this block is in place. If you still wish to be unblocked, create a BRAND NEW one that addresses a) the original reasons for the block, b) the reasons the declining admin provided, and c) any further information that reviewing admins (such as myself) have given you. Identical unblock requests will be immediatelty declined. Please read WP:GAB very carefully (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:38, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Request April 30th (#2)

Request reason:

My brother (no humour/WP:BROTHER) began edit warring on the General Joseph Colton article. I got into it in the middle of it and started making non-constructive edits to the article. I am not using my brother as an excuse for my behavior but am accepting full responsibility for not discouraging his behavior and in fact contributing to it. He has been conducting consistent sock-puppetry on Wikipedia through our home network, see [Sock-Puppetry]. I want to ask that my account be given another chance to be a constructive member of Wikipedia, and not asking that my network be unbanned because if it is my brother will continue his disruptive behavior and will not ever allow him access to my account. This is why I am asking for this account to be unblocked and not the original JHerbertMunster, which should not even be considered for unblocking. All I am asking for is another chance, I can assure that I will not par-take in such editing practices again and I understand that Wikipedia admin's and editor's have a big enough task managing the largest encyclopedia in the world without that sort of behavior intervening. Thank you, and once again I look forward to a response.

Decline reason:

I find it extremely unlikely that you are not responsible for the other accounts that have been listed. For example, you edited within minutes of BanaBong (talk · contribs), from the exact same computer. Why should we unblock you, especially after you admit to making non-constructive edits? Request reason:

I understand I was par-taking it my brothers nonconstructive editing, I realize it was childish and immature. I am asking that I be given a second chance because I realized I actually kind of like contributing to Wikipedia it is oddly addicting when you actually have good article improvements with the proper citations, an almost slight sense of self-accomplishment. That is only the way I feel however, I am only human, we do make mistakes, it was childish and immature. I do not intend to use other accounts, only this one with my real full name. I have now taken the time to enlighten myself and actually read some of the articles of editing. If I could be unbanned I do promise to make a grave effort to abide by Wikipedia policies, to assume good faith, and respect the opinions and authority of other contributors on the site. And quite frankly, edit warring won't get you anywhere, it just gets your edits reverted and blocks you from contributing to Wikipedia, in turn wasting everyone's time. I would appreciate it if you would consider unblocking me or actually giving me a block time frame that is not indefinite so that I can come back and contribute to Wikipedia, and thank you again. Robert B Colton (talk) 16:20, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I am willing to give you another chance. However, any sign of unconstructive editing is likely to lead to a block which will be allowed to stick. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:50, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
