Julius Jackson is a Maryland born American hip hop artist who goes by the stage name Atari Blitzkrieg.

History

Atari Blitzkrieg is a rapper, poet & musician from the DC metro area of Hispanic and African descent. Atari created his first mixtape in 1995 but didn't release a mainstream project until 2007 with the Rokkonorrottenhell single, featuring hip-hop icon Royce Da 5'9, Groovie Mann from the industrial band My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and producer Krohme.[1]

Since then, he has been nominated as an URB Next 1000, released close to 200 songs, has unveiled 15 EP's, 3 full-length album's, numerous guest appearances, produced a few songs for other artists including Ryu of Styles of Beyond and Little Indian and has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop; The Game, Lord Jamar, Daedelus, Rapper Pooh, Louis Logic, Vast Aire, Roc C, LMNO, Breez Evahflowin, Motion Man and Wildchild to name a few. He continues to evolve his sound and blur genres while keeping his core principles; cyberpunk, technology, violence, corruption and post-apocalyptic dystopia's intact.

He recently created Blood Moon Uprising, a metal band with a heavy anti-political message with guitarists Hidekazu Seki & Matt Coller.

Atari also devotes his time and his earnings to various charities and non-profit organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Bright Beginnings Inc., a child and family development center that offers a bright start for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families.
