Department of Computer Engineering is one of Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli's. It was was established by the end of 1978, as one of the sections of the Faculty of Nuclear and Electronic Engineering at that time. It's first batch of students started in 1979.


Vision

To be a competitive teaching entity in computer engineering in the country and the region and to produce graduates with international recognition for their knowledge and skills, who are capable of taking a leadership position in the board aspect of computer engineering.

Mission

  • Provide manpower and scientific capabilities in the field of Computer Engineering.
  • Push and develop scientific and applied research in the field of Computer Engineering and it's applications.
  • Provide training programs to rehabilitate and refine engineers and workers in the field of Computer Engineering and it's applications.
  • Provide consultancy and develop appropriate solutions in the field of Computer Engineering and it's applications.


Laboratories

Contains modern laboratories and equipment in the application of computer industry, automation, networking, and communications both types of analog and digital, and most of these laboratories uses the computer to monitor, control and simulate the signals to the actual real-time, the department also provided with regulations and modern educational methods.
