Shaul Rosolio (1923-1992) was the 5th Israeli Police Commissioner in the years 1972-1977.

Rosolio born in 1923 in Tel Aviv and Rosolio uncle (who was the first civil service commissioner), and Dora to Arlosoroff (sister of Chaim Arlosoroff). Rosolio brother is Daniel, who later became a Knesset member and secretary of company employees. At 19 he enlisted and served as a guard monitored by the year 1946. With the establishment of the navy joined the army. During the War of Independence was called to help build a training program of the Israel Police. Saul Rosolio enlisted rank of inspector, served at the national headquarters and in 1951 he was appointed commander of the police training base. In 1956 was appointed deputy commander of the District. Later appointed deputy commander of the Jerusalem district in 1960 was responsible for the place of his imprisonment of Adolf Eichmann. years 1962 to 1970 was commander of the Southern District, in 1970 - 1972 was chief of the police organization. on 1 August 1972 was appointed assistant chief, and after death of commissioner Aaron rock, was appointed commissioner on November 1. On 30 December 1977 and appointed retired Israeli ambassador to Mexico.
