Ulf Olsson (born 1951) is best known for being sentenced to life in prison for the murders of Jannica Ekblad and 10-year-old Helén Nilsson in (1989).

One year before the murder, he had moved to Vimmerby, Småland, where he lived until his arrest on 24 june 2004. He was known to his neighbors as "the man with the dog". He was a loner and his dog was his best friend, but he became notable for mistreating domestic animals. In the early 1990s he took part in the television series Kronofogden kommer.
