Ohai! I'm a kitteh sort of person. The BDSM articles are in a terrible state. Most of them are very inaccurate and misleading. I'm mainly here to work on those. However, I've also discovered lots of the neoplatonism and Rosicrucian articles are not so good. I'm also familiar with that, so I may work on those a bit. If I do something dumb or wrong just let me know. I'm here to improve the place and not to cause problems. So if I'm in the wrong let's work it out and please make sure I understand why what I did was a problem.

BDSM misconceptions

BDSM is not just about kinky play. There are plenty of domination/submission relationships that do not involve kinky physical activities.

BDSM is not necessarily about sex. Sadomasochism may be carried out for psychological, as opposed to sexual, pleasure. Numerous other activities may be engaged in for other reasons, such as complex bondage being done for aesthetic appreciation.
