St Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2004 by the Nagpur Pallottine Society. The college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, approved by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra, and AICTE, Government of India. The College was ranked 65th by the DateQuest-NASSCOM ADC survey of best 200 T-Schools of 2005.

ISTE Chapter
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a national, professional, non-profit making society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI), it was converted into “Indian Society for Technical Education” in 1968 with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause of technological education. The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organizations.
SVPCET is associated with the Indian Society for Technical Education, which is a National, Professional, Non-profit making society. The major objective of the ISTE that is to assist and contribute in the production and development of professional engineers and technicians.
Anti-Ragging
Ragging is a recognizable offence and is totally banned in the entire institution & all its premises / outside & all means of transportation of students whether public or private and stern action will be taken against the offenders & those found guilty and or of abetting ragging.
