I work as a digital archivist with the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program at the Library of Congress. I also teach a digital history course for public history students course for American University and am finishing a doctorate in George Mason University's college of Education and Human Development. I write about games and history for a blog called playthepast. My personal blog is largely about issues related to studying online communities, digital preservation and the interpretation of born digital materials.

I'm a long time Wikipedia consumer who has made a few small edits over time. I am hoping to help improve information about digital preservation here.
