Template:GBmap Kirkby Overblow is a village in North Yorkshire between Wetherby and Harrogate. It lies to the west of Sicklinghall. It has a church called All Saints [1] There are two pubs in Kirkby Overblow. The Shoulder of Mutton, which boasts a large beer garden with interesting shadows at the bottom, and the Star and Garter which has an array of stuffed animals to rival Norman Bates' collection.

Kirkby Overblow has no bus stop, train station or post office. This has led some to believe that it is a vortex leading to an alternative Britain. One great explorer, Jimbo Kean, disappeared in Kirkby Overblow (also known as KO) for nearly 30 years before re-appearing, bloodied and bruised, in an HMV branch in Leeds.
