Literarily:Erotic is dedicated to writers, readers and people of color Erotic literature largely promotes European aesthetics and western standards of beauty. While the work of all artists are welcome, Literarily:Erotic works to create an electronic safe space for unconventional, LGBTQ and Black aesthetics. [1] Ethridge Knight was quoted as "Unless the Black artist establishes a “Black aesthetic” he will have no future at all. To accept the white aesthetic is to accept and validate a society that will not allow him to live.” ".[2]
