“Demitarian” diet – is considered as being a half vegetarian, which means reducing meat portions considerable.

An average European eats 70% more livestock (meat) proteins, than considered to be a healthy diet. It is recommended that total weekly meat intake should not exceed 210 grams. In addition, livestock (meat) production is responsible for a lot of adverse ecloogical side effecgs, which are emission of green house gasses, Nitrogen pollution and occupation of agricultural land for lifestock food production. Agricultural land occupation results in degradation of natural ecosystem, which is responsible for species distinction. Furthermore, it increases the problem global food shortage for the poor as feeding livestock competes with food for the poors.

In order achieve a sustainable development and to secure the future of the planet, current live stock productions patterns cannot maintained.
