Adrian Kennedy (journalist)

Adrian Kennedy is a well known Irish radio journalist, broadcaster and DJ.

He is the co-host and producer of The FM104 Phoneshow; a late night radio chat show - alongside his co-host Jeremy Dixon.

Kennedy is often described as a "shock jock" for his controversial on air persona.

He is held in very high regard by both his listeners and his colleagues within the Irish radio sector.

Kennedy's on air topics can range from light hearted entertainment to very serious social issues such as child sexual abuse, drug addiction, criminality etc.

Kennedy was brought up in the working class town of Ballybrack in Dublin and became involved in amateur radio broadcasting with local pirate radio stations.

He also a well known disk jockey/DJ on the Dublin nightclub scene.

Personal Life

Kennedy is divorced and a father of two children. He is currently in a relationship.

Drink Driving Incident

In 2006 Kennedy was convicted of drink driving and recieved a driving ban.

Stalker

In 2010 it was announced that both Adrian Kennedy and to a lesser extent Jeremy Dixon have fallen victim to a mentally disturbed individual (possibly a transvestite male). Every night the FM104 phoneshow recieved extremely disturbing text messages and phonecalls from this person.

On many ocassions the stalker was able to inform both men of their exact whereabouts on previous days.

Both Kennedy and Dixon are aware of the identity of the culprit and Gardai are investigating. The stalker has been identified as "Grainne".

Security at FM104 headquarters and the presenters private residences have been tightened.
