WP:LEAD

Hi. The WP:LEAD is an overview of the body of the article. The items mentioned in the Lead should be expanded upon in the body of the article, such as the Humane Society ambassadorship. Thanks for your message on my talk page. I copied the discussion from there to the article's talk page, so that other editors can participate.

You know, I have been working pretty hard on this article (and the other Jackie articles) for almost a year, and we certainly can use your help, but why not discuss ideas on the article's talk pages before making changes? I am interested in any ideas you have, and maybe I have some valid thoughts to contribute or some historical reason why things have been done the way they have. Obviously, these articles will continue to improve over time, and I would be very responsive to any ideas you have. Since you have become interested in these articles, let's work together! I think that what is most urgently needed in the article currently is to look for dead links in the article and update them. I think there are probably several by now, and I would be grateful for your help with this. Then we can work steadily to improve the article over time.
