Michael Edminster was born in Tulare, CA in 1984 and raised in nearby Visalia. He is a writer, artist, musician, critic, analyst and linguist who holds a degree in Romance Languages (2005).

Michael's been anonymously contributing to Wikipedia since 2002 and has been a major contributor to city pages, demographic information, and historic places in California and throughout the world. His major early interest, and continuing interest, is adding more specific, relevant information to history and locality pages from legitimate, prominent sources on the web and through public offices to create a more accurately complete record of and guide to the world in general.

He was involved in two music projects in the late 2000s, Les Invalides and Magnetronics. He also has a DJ page at 8tracks.

From 2006-2007 he was a French Teacher at Dinuba High School.

He is fluent in French and Spanish and has functional abilities in Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Provençal, Latin, Korean and Japanese.

From January to December 2010 he was an English teacher and freelance English PR consultant in Changwon, South Korea.

Throughout the summer and fall of 2011 he lived and worked in San Francisco and was active in the social media campaigning that presaged the Occupy Movement, having been involved either online or in-person with the Arab Spring, OpBart, the Indignados, and Occupy San Francisco. He was the creator and operator of the popular @OccupyEarth account on twitter, which was based in Occupy San Francisco, Occupy Oakland and Occupy Santa Cruz, and whose main goal was to connect those throughout the geopolitical world via people-to-people diplomacy.
