Irfan Yusuf is an Australian Muslim lawyer of Pakistani descent. He was born in 1969 in Karachi. He arrived in Australia 5 months later. His parents are from Delhi.
Yusuf holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws completed in 1993 and was admitted as solicitor in 1994. His main area of practice is workplace relations. Yusuf served as President of the Bankstown Young Liberals and the Bankstown Liberal State Electorate Conference. He was endorsed Liberal Candidate for the seat of Reid in the 2001 Federal Election.
From time to time, Yusuf writes articles for various newspapers and appears on radio programs. Yusuf has his own blog at www.planetirf.blogspot.com where he shares his ideas regarding various political and social issues.
