Doubt concerning Scottish Language

[edit]

Good afternoon sir,

My name is Eduardo, I'm Brazilian, and I study Modern Languages at university. Currently I'm doing a final paper and it is about some historical account on beer. I then thought it would be interesting to include a sentence in Scottish Gaelic, even though I can't speak a single word in it. Then I searched Wikipedia and you seemed to know that language fairly enough, right?

Could you please tell me how to translate "A beer, please!" into Scottish Gaelic? If so, can you either send me that by e-mail or post it here for me to check later?

My e-mail is: ebk.kumamoto@gmail.com

Leann, ma's e ur toil e (formal) or Leann, ma's e do thoil e (familiar). Or instead of "Leann" you might say say "Gloine leanna" (A glass of beer). Michealt (talk) 20:44, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks, again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.110.211.241 (talk) 22:42, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
