The Headteacher is called Mr Camp. The previous headteacher was Mrs O'Grady. The school is a small single form entry primary school based in the town of Towcester. They are a very friendly, caring school with strong parental support, whose aim is to offer outstanding education and a very varied range of opportunities and experiences for their pupils. Since Mr Camp arrived in 2011 there have been a few changes. Some of the ways the school has developed over the year are listed below, however much of the development has been in building a new ethos for the school:-

A new outdoor learning area including a tree house classroom, amphitheatre, woodland walk and environmental area. A chicken project run by the Year 6 pupils as a mini-business including shareholders, accounts and dividends. A new LRC (Learning Resource Centre) for Key Stage 2 pupils (there SATs reading results with children reaching level 4+ was 88% this year.) A new behaviour policy and scheme called ‘Good to be Green’ which rewards good behaviour across the school. A pupil exchange programme developed with a primary school in Hanover, Germany involving 12 of the pupils visiting Hanover. The school is committed to developing these opportunities over the next few years. The recent SAT's results are as follows

Maths 88% L4+ and 27% L5+

Writing 81% L4+ and 23% L5+

Reading 88% L4+ and 31% L5+

English 81% L4+ and 27% L5+

Well done for all the hard work this year!
